Partnerships
Local Food Culture considers collaborations that help readers understand local food without blurring the line between editorial coverage and promotion.
Suitable collaborations
We consider clearly scoped projects related to regional ingredients, food makers, markets, food customs and community gatherings. Proposals should explain the intended audience, format, contribution and any commercial interests involved.
Partner placements
We accept relevant partner placements across the site when they are useful to readers and clearly labelled where they appear. Placement does not imply endorsement, and partners cannot buy influence over independent editorial decisions or the wording of unrelated coverage.
How to propose one
Send a partnership proposal through the Contact page. Include the organisation or product involved, the proposed placement or collaboration, its purpose and the commercial relationship. We assess fit and transparency before agreeing to any work.
Place changes the meaning of food
A local dish is more than an ingredient list. Its meaning comes from where its ingredients come from, who makes it and how people choose to share it.
